Old-world elegance and intimate charm await bridal couples choosing
the historic Dillon House
as the setting for their wedding or wedding-related events.
The Dillon House
dates from an age of refinement. Its 1873 construction came in the
midst of the Gilded Age when industrialization fueled an economic
boom. Charles and Ann Dillon chose to display their affluence in a
house of lavish construction.
The two-story brick home features ceilings that soar to 14 and 15
feet and are embellished by ornate plasterwork. The rich hues of Black
Walnut and Butternut woodwork warm the spacious rooms.
Adornments like decorative brass door hinges, marble fireplaces, and
leaded glass combine to make
The Dillon House one
of Fremont’s finest examples of Victorian-era architecture.
Owned and operated by the
Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center,
The Dillon House can
be rented for private functions.
