The Dillon House dates from an age of refinement. Its 1873 construction came in the midst of the Gilded Age when industrialization fueled an economic boom. Charles and Ann Dillon chose to display their affluence in a house of lavish construction.

The two-story brick home features ceilings that soar to 14 and 15 feet and are embellished by ornate plasterwork. The rich hues of Black Walnut and Butternut woodwork warm the spacious rooms.
